Dr. Mahmud Asif Rifat

Dr. Mahmud Asif Rifat, highly qualified ENT Specialist and Surgeon, currently serving as a Junior Consultant under the Ministry of Health in Bangladesh. With extensive clinical and academic experience in Otolaryngology, Dr. Rifat has established himself as a committed healthcare professional in the field of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) disorders.

He completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 2010. He later qualified through the Bangladesh Civil Service (Health) and pursued the FCPS in ENT & Head-Neck Surgery. In his pursuit of advanced training, he completed an Otology Fellowship at Bangladesh Medical University and underwent specialized training in Head-Neck Cancer Surgery in Gujarat, India.

In addition, he serves as a Consultant ENT Specialist at the Proshanti ENT Hearing & Speech Center in Malibag, Dhaka, where he treats a wide range of conditions including hearing loss, ear infections, vertigo, tinnitus, and cranial nerve disorders.

Dr. Rifat’s clinical practice combines evidence-based medicine with a patient-centered approach. His surgical competence and commitment to continuing medical education enable him to provide advanced care in both public and private healthcare settings. With a deep understanding of otolaryngological anatomy and pathology, he is proficient in diagnosing and managing ENT diseases affecting both children and adults.
